How Does IT Relocation Work?
- One of our London based Consultants will be assigned as your primary contact, giving you that ‘go to’ person to make things that much easier.
- We will begin with an introductory call scoping out the requirements, expectations, and time frames as well as any concerns you might have and will begin by creating a plan for your office move.
- Next, we encourage an audit is performed on existing equipment where we will refer back to our initial discussion with the requirements scoped.
The primary objective of the audit is to assess your existing IT equipment, ensuring it’s not only going to be compatible to work with the new office design but also that it’s not restraining. Should there be any issues identified, your assigned Consultant will put forward their recommendation(s) with reasoning
PLEASE NOTE: The audit is not mandatory, however from experience, proceeding with the equipment audit often highlights issues which are resolved in preparation of the move date which would not otherwise have been identified. - We will then plan the security aspects combined with Networking and Wi-Fi deployments (should this be needed)
Wherever possible, an onsite visit to the new site is preferred although we do acknowledge that sometimes this physically is not achievable
It is important to mention at this point that Proxar IT Consulting provide an international relocations service which is not just for businesses who are outside of the UK and setting up here, we also help to relocate businesses outside of the UK too - Any equipment needed to be procured, will have an order placed and time frames will be provided for delivery with expectations met
- We will evaluate your internet service to ensure it meets the necessary requirements for your business needs – should there be any technical conversations needed, we will do this on your behalf
- In preparation of the IT Relocate move date (where possible) we will obtain access to the building in advance of the move date to set up equipment and perform onsite testing, resolving any issues
- Lastly, on the Go Live date for your IT Relocation move we will be onsite to assist with any questions or issues which you may have
